All performance improvement data shown above is based on tests performed by Riverbed using a WAN simulator. The test are based on the download, via CIFS, of a 2.5 MB Microsoft Word document over a steady T1 bandwidth. Tests were performed both with and without the deployment of a "warmed" Riverbed Steelhead appliance. Results for a "cold" Riverbed Steelhead appliance will not generate the same level of performance improvement. All results reflect performance estimates. Actual results may vary.
