Over the years Al Abbar has grown into one of the largest architectural glazing contractors in the Middle East, providing high quality products and services that meet international standards. When the company centralized its main applications to a data center, users began to complain of lengthy delays in accessing files over the WAN.
After exploring several potential solutions, the company tested Riverbed Steelhead appliances between its head office and one of its branch offices. As a result, download times for a 10MB document reduced from five minutes to 40 seconds.
