Summary
Wright-Pierce provides water supply and treatment, waste water collection, environmental services, and industrial environmental services and engineering, among other services. Ever since the company expanded from one to four offices, poor WAN performance inhibited engineers from being able to collaborate daily on project designs, a key project requirement.
After installing Steelhead appliances from Riverbed, Wright-Pierce saw immediate performance improvements, especially when working with CAD files. The Steelhead solution centralized data, giving employees across all offices access to the most recent files while increasing their ability to collaborate company-wide. This solution also eliminated version control problems caused by previously needing redundant copies on local servers.
