Make It Happen with Riverbed

On October 18th, 2009, Riverbed launched a new brand awareness campaign targeting technology decision makers, featuring our first-ever TV commercial, "Make It Happen" and matching newspaper print ads. Our message was simple and straightforward: Riverbed can speed up your wide area network. The primary goal of this campaign was to raise Riverbed brand awareness in select U.S. markets.
We tested the awareness campaign from October 18th to November 18th, 2009 in Cincinnati, Minneapolis and Pittsburgh. We worked with sales management to identify these three markets as ones with high revenue growth potential. After the campaign, we conducted research to measure its effectiveness. The data indicated that we delivered our awareness lift goal of 5-7% in each market.

In addition to the TV, we also launched an accompanying print campaign to local
