Get involved. Make a difference. Reach Out is a Riverbed volunteer program dedicated to positively impacting the local community. Our mission: To give our time and resources to make the world around us a better place to live and work for everyone. You, as a Riverbed employee, can help.
Giving is good. And it can have a lasting and positive impact on the community. On a monthly basis, Reach Out will offer assistance to selected non-profit organizations. We encourage all employees to propose philanthropic activities for employee participation. To recommend an organization or specific activity, please forward an email including full project details to reachout@riverbed.com.

Riverbed Cares — A Haiti Relief Fundraiser
On Tuesday, January 12th, 2010, a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince leveling much of the city. Mercy Corps has deployed an experienced emergency team to rush critical supplies and other urgent assistance to survivors.
Haitian families need your help — food, shelter and other supplies — in the aftermath of the worst disaster to strike the region in years.
Riverbed employees have worked with Mercy Corp on other relief efforts over the years and we are proud to help this great organization again. Mercy Corps has a long history of helping earthquake survivors meet their immediate needs and recover what they've lost. We aided families after earthquakes in Peru in 2007, China and Pakistan in 2008, and Indonesia last year.
Riverbed will match any of your donations given through the link below, up to $10,000 and through January 25th, 2010. Please help our fellow human beings through this devastating tragedy.

What impresses me most about this program is that is totally driven by our people, not the company, and that the amount of willing involvement is incredible and heartfelt
Helping people in need both financially and more so in time should be something that folks should actively engage in. Reach Out makes it easy for Riverbed employees to do their bit for society and every employee should try and participate as often as possible.
