Riverbed to Demonstrate Cloud Performance Solutions at GovCloud 2011

SAN FRANCISCO—October 18, 2011—Riverbed Technology (NASDAQ: RVBD), the IT performance company, today announced it will demonstrate its cloud performance solutions at GovCloud 2011, taking place October 25 at Reagan Pavilion in Washington, D.C. GovCloud 2011 is an event where IT professionals in federal, state and local government will develop a deeper understanding of the options available for cloud services in government IT environments. Attendees can visit the Riverbed® station to learn about the company’s cloud performance solutions, which help government agencies meet mandates – to consolidate data centers, reduce costs for IT, and execute on the cloud first policy – without compromising performance.

The challenges associated with distance introduced by data center consolidation or a move to the cloud can adversely impact performance and the user experience.
