Summary

With about 500 employees in Europe, Asia, and the U.S., and clients throughout the world, Freudenberg  turned to Riverbed for WAN optimization solutions. The Company deployed Steelhead appliances from Riverbed across its corporate and client sites, and the Riverbed Central Management Console (CMC) in its main data center.

For Freudenberg’s clients, the results were immediate – improvements in SAP performance and data throughput, reductions in bandwidth usage of up to 50 percent, and greatly increased end-user satisfaction. Freudenberg also saw dramatic improvements in application performance, improved collaboration within its global workforce, and greater control over its IT infrastructure. As a result of Riverbed’s simplified IT administration and data management processes, Freudenberg also found it easier to control, report, and surpass service level agreements.
