Summary

McLagan Partners, a financial services firm with branches in New York and Chicago, and in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong, depends on its consultants to share knowledge across global financial locations. The firm needed faster speeds over the WAN, instantaneous downloads, and quick access to information. To achieve this, McLagan Partners deployed Steelhead appliances.

After deploying the Steelhead solution at their global offices, McLagan Partners centralized its application servers from all branch offices.  With Steelheads installed, McLagan’s network response times improved by 100 times and WAN traffic reduced dramatically from 90 percent to 30 percent. File download times dropped from four minutes to just a few seconds. And in only two days after the completion of the Steelhead deployment, McLagan’s month-long queue of content had been eliminated.
