Summary

Simmons & Simmons wanted to enhance collaboration among its distributed workforce by standardizing the products, solutions, and applications available to all workers in all locations via their desktop computers. The law firm needed to improve business resiliency, offer a more streamlined service, and deliver faster access to critical applications and data over the WAN.

With WAN optimization solutions from Riverbed, the firm has seen its bandwidth capacity increase by nearly five times. It has also reduced the amount of data transferred over the global network by 75 percent. The deployment enabled Simmons & Simmons to increase worker collaboration between offices, while consolidating its IT infrastructure.
