We value you as a customer and a partner, and our Trade Up program enables you to easily and cost-effectively transition to the latest Steelhead appliance models. Why upgrade?

• Get the latest hardware. More power, more capability for the products you already know and depend on.
• Get new functionality. Depending on your current model, you may be missing out on key features like the Riverbed® Services Platform (RSP) for virtualization, additional application optimizations, easier software upgradability, and more¹.
• Get enhanced support. With changes in our support model on our most recent platforms, you can get Riverbed’s world-class support with an even more cost-effective support package.

The Riverbed Trade-Up Program

The Riverbed Trade Up program allows you to get additional financial incentives for certain end of sale Steelhead appliances that you are refreshing with new Steelhead appliances. The program enables you to drive higher ROI for your investment, as well as easily recycle your older gear. The details are as follows:

• Credit for trade ups. For each appliance that you refresh under the terms of the program, Riverbed will make available up to $17,995 in credit² towards the purchase of a replacement appliance.
• No-cost-to-you recycling. Through our partnership with M-Cubed, we support worldwide collection and recycling of older Steelhead appliances. This allows you to be green without any additional investment.
• Support credit. For customers with a current valid Riverbed support plan, pro-rated credit for the balance of the paid support plan may be refunded, after the older appliance is recycled.³
