Hardware appliance: The CMC 8150

CMC 8150 streamlines the deployment, configuration, and management of Steelhead appliances. With just a few clicks, administrators gain full control of up to 2,000 Steelhead appliances or Virtual Steelhead appliances.

Virtual edition: The CMC-VE

CMC-VE runs as a virtualized service on VMware platforms in private cloud environments. Cost-effectively deploy and migrate virtual machines between hardware platforms and high-availability features for increased fault tolerance.

Steelhead Mobile Management

CMC features support for centrally monitoring the Riverbed Steelhead® Mobile Controller (SMC). This includes keeping track of SMC health, as well as auto-registration for the SMC and automatic backups.

Manage your Interceptor appliances

Manage your Riverbed Interceptor® appliances via your CMC. Benefits include health status monitoring as well as auto-registration and automatic backups.

Manage RiOS features

All the latest Riverbed Optimization System (RiOS) features for your Steelhead deployment can be set up and configured from a single dashboard on the CMC.

PDF exports for reports

The CMC can export Steelhead appliance health or other statistics in PDF format for easy distribution among administrators and other stakeholders.
