Riverbed helped human rights agency IJM improve network throughput without increasing costs.
Hilton Grand Vacations Club owns, operates, and manages over 3,700 timeshare vacation ownership resorts throughout the world for more than 100,000 members. With branch offices around the world sending large amounts of data across the WAN to its headquarters in Orlando, the company experienced issues with connectivity and application performance, and its customers suffered.
Riverbed helped solve these challenges by deploying Steelhead appliances, reducing the time it took to deliver key contracts from half an hour to a minute or two. And file transfers that once took up to 10 minutes between Tokyo and Hawaii were reduced to less than five seconds. Riverbed’s Central Management Console (CMC) also enabled them to efficiently manage and troubleshoot network performance from a centralized location. Enhanced reporting capabilities now allow network managers to receive detailed reports on WAN traffic levels, global trending, application throughput performance, and TCP session flow characteristics.
