Summary
Stanley Consultants focuses on delivering on-time, on-budget projects for clients. The company was migrating to Exchange 2003, and at the same time, opening another remote office. To make these projects successful, they required fast performance of all their applications over the WAN and wanted to avoid having servers in the new location. They chose Riverbed to help them.
After deploying Steelhead appliances in their offices, Riverbed’s technology saved employees time on projects that required multiple offices to collaborate on huge CAD files, drastically reduced bandwidth utilization, and reduced data reduction across the wide-area network by 84 percent. Riverbed also enabled the company to achieve cost savings by consolidating Exchange servers from nine to only two and by creating a serverless remote office.
