Whitewater Cloud Storage Gateway Quick Start Guide for Symantec NetBackup
Thank you for your interest in Riverbed®. This paper describes the deployment and ease of use of Riverbed Whitewater® cloud storage gateways in Windows 2008 R2 / Symantec NetBackup 7 environments. The Whitewater gateway provides a simple, efficient way to offsite data to cloud storage providers powered by: Amazon S3, AT&T Synaptic Storage as a Service, EMC Atmos, Rackspace Cloud Files, Nirvanix Cloud Storage Network or Windows Azure. The Whitewater gateway simply acts as a storage unit within a Symantec / Windows Server 2008 backup infrastructure. Whitewater cloud storage gateways feature drop-in installation and require no changes to the existing schedules, processes or policies.
