Bridget Bisnette is Senior Vice President of Global Channels and Commercial Sales for Riverbed Technology. She is responsible for Global Channel Strategy and synchronizing Riverbed’s efforts through the channel, managing the partner program, focusing on enablement to drive partner productivity and integrating them into the Commercial Sales motions. She is also building a new Global Commercial Sales Operation. Prior to Riverbed, Bisnette was a Senior Director of World Wide Product and Solutions Partner Marketing at Cisco where she supported the field sales, partner and corporate marketing teams by providing customer insights, portfolio management and value proposition development for the Mid-Market GTM. Prior to this role she built and ran field marketing in the Emerging Markets sales operation, managing a distributed work force of 150 marketing professionals, located and supporting 23 countries and 19 languages. Her team focused on B2B marketing across all customer segments supporting a $4.3B business. She managed a multi-discipline team delivering: Brand, Demand Generation, Channel Marketing, Events, Social Media, Strategic Planning, Customer Intelligence and all Integrated Marketing Communications functions. Bisnette was brought to Cisco for her Channel expertise in 1997, where she built and led the Cisco organization that defined and delivered Cisco’s first Global Channel Certification Program, and also created the Cisco Channel Specialization Program in support of Cisco’s aggressive acquisitions through 2002. She spent time working in the Consumer Division as a member of the Internet Home Alliance working with Comptia Association, Sears, GM and Best Buy to define the first consumer focused Home Integrator Certification. The effort lead to the catalyst for Best Buys creation of today’s Geek Squad. Bisnette has held a wide range of global roles, many of them new at Cisco such as Enterprise Vertical Partnerships, Commercial Alliances, Channels Marketing Programs and Channel Certification. Previous employers include global companies such as Cisco Systems, Standard Micro Systems, and AST Computers. She has contributed to the IT industry for more than 30 years.
