LONDON – 8 November, 2016 – – Riverbed Technology, the application performance company, has appointed Mark Hiley as Regional Channel Sales Director for the United Kingdom and Ireland (UK&I) region. In this role, Mark will focus on the development and enablement of Riverbed’s regional channel, in-line with the company’s global channel strategy. Mark reports to Giovanni Di Filippo, Vice President, Channels, EMEA, and will work closely with Allan Paton, Regional Vice President, UK&I, to build Riverbed’s partner landscape and grow its channel business in the region.
Riverbed’s 2016 channel focus has been across three key areas: building an embedded solution and services program, driving joint engagement, and accelerating repeatable revenue across key markets and industries. Riverbed will be providing attractive partner incentives such as rebates for partners to embed Riverbed products into their services and solutions.
Giovanni Di Filippo explains, “Mark brings with him a wealth of expertise in creating sustainable channel routes to market, building ecosystems and executing supporting programs that resulted in outstanding growth and committed partnerships. His experience perfectly aligns with our vision for the channel. Mark brings over 28 years of experience in the IT industry to Riverbed. His past experience includes sales and channels roles at companies such as LSI, Dell and EMC.
