SAN FRANCISCO – May 31, 2016 – Riverbed Technology, the application performance company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Lynn Tinney, Vice President Americas Channels, and Michelle Hodges, Vice President Global Channel Strategy & Operations, to its prestigious 2016 Women of the Channel list. In addition, Tinney was named to the list of the 2016 Power 100, an elite subset of the prestigious annual Women of the Channel list. This recognition highlights Riverbed’s commitment and collaboration with partners in a time of significant industry disruption, as enterprises worldwide are moving to software-defined solutions to modernize their application and network infrastructure for today’s digital and cloud-centric world.
The women executives who comprise this annual list span the IT channel, representing vendors, distributors, solution providers and other organizations that figure prominently in the channel ecosystem. Each is recognized for her outstanding leadership, vision, and unique role in driving channel growth and innovation. In addition, the 2016 Power 100 list identifies an exclusive group of channel influencers drawn from the larger pool of CRN’s 2016 Women of the Channel: the most powerful women leaders across IT channel organizations whose expertise and vision have positioned their companies for success.
CRN editors select the Women of the Channel honorees on the basis of their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the IT channel. However, only the most influential of the list’s constituents are selected for the Power 100, each singled out for her unique role in the advancement of her own organization and the IT channel at large.
Tinney is recognized for helping to shift the channel skill-set at Riverbed well beyond enablement to a focus on selling and building pipeline by leveraging the strengths of Riverbed channel partners. Hodges is honored for her experience in professional services and building value-based programs that benefit partners.
