Riverbed Proof of Concept Session: Accelerating Network & App Performance for Remote Workers
In this Proof of Concept, Riverbed demonstrates how enterprises can use both Client Accelerator and SaaS Accelerator solutions to overcome bandwidth and latency issues that cause poor network and application performance when working at home or other remote locations. Brandon Carroll, Senior Technical Evangelist, walks through the process of setting up Client Accelerator and SaaS Accelerator and shows a side-by-side performance comparison of file download speed on the same network with and without Riverbed’s acceleration solutions.
Maintaining Business Continuity During Crisis, Empowering a Remote Workforce and Scaling for Future Success – GHD with Riverbed
With 12,000 employees and 260 offices on five continents, GHD is one of the world’s leading professional services companies. Like many organizations, due to COVID-19 shelter-in-home mandates, GHD needed to quickly scale work-from-home capabilities to maintain business continuity and employee productivity. In this keynote, C. Randy Taylor, Global Network Manager for GHD, joins Riverbed to discuss how the company prepared to ramp up from 1,500 remote connections in any given region to 6,000 active connections at once. At the same time, GHD was able to decrease WAN traffic by 49% and increase file transfer performance by 55%, boosting network efficiency and productivity for their remote employees, and ensuring they can deliver for their customers.
