The Jubilant ERM Enterprise Video Platform integrates with Riverbed WAN optimization solutions to deliver live and on-demand video on internal networks, without impacting other applications.
Upon receiving a request for on-demand video, Riverbed checks the local cache first. If the video object is found, it is returned to a user without forwarding the request to the data center.
The same principle is applied for live streaming. One stream is sent from the data center to each branch office, and Riverbed software at each of the branch offices splits or replicates the stream for each individual client viewing a live webcast.
