SteelCentral Flow Gateway collects flow data from routers, switches, certain firewalls as well as SteelCentral AppResponse, SteelHead and SteelFusion devices so you get end-to-end network insights.
Flow Gateway also supports flow collection from Riverbed SteelCentral AppResponse physical and virtual appliances. It aggregates and de-duplicates the data before sending it to SteelCentral NetProfiler. This structure enables the easy analysis of large-scale virtual AppResponse environments.

Deeper understanding of data flows through better collection
The SteelCentral Flow Gateway gathers data flow from multiple devices, and then collates and deduplicates it to provide a single view of the entire flow. Individual device-specific metrics are appended to the flow allowing other applications to generate detailed reports.
Deploy once or multiple times
A SteelCentral Flow Gateway can be deployed with the SteelCentral NetProfiler in the data center, or multiple Flow Gateway appliances can be deployed regionally for scalability and improved performance. In either case, all reporting is forwarded to a centrally located SteelCentral NetProfiler for analysis.
Flow Gateway also directly supports SteelCentral AppResponse packet capture devices. It aggregates and deduplicates the packet-based flow data before sending it to SteelCentral NetProfiler.
